Chico von Calw is a striking looking, XL 2 year-old German Shepherd mix. Chico is a big boy with charming, tipped together ears that will give him that adorable forever puppy look. His coat is a gorgeous golden-red and black; while he's already handsome, he has some filling out to do. He has a gentle, calmer demeanor with us and likes to stay close to his people, responding well to reassurance. When you speak to him, he looks up at you with his kind eyes and gives a gentle wag of his tail, as if he understands every word you're saying, and it makes every moment with him seem warm and unhurried. He starts off walks nicely and is good on leash. He does okay around other dogs on walks, while preferring gentle dogs over pushy ones in playgroups. Chico is a special gentle giant who just wants to be near his favorite humans. (No cats please.)
